Rotation #59 :: Everything's Up!! ::

Mandatory Introduction:
Hello! Welcome to Color me Blood Red, a weekly rotation site featuring oodles of music and videos for your listening/viewing pleasure. Mainly Jrock stuffs, but I tend to throw on whatever genres (mostly some amazing European metal) I feel like. *bows* Come on in and enjoy!!

Today's Random Thought (07/05/07):
As of Wednesday night while I'm updating, I'm thinking of putting an under construction version of my rotation up on Thursday at its usual time and then just stick in the pending requests. Unfortunately, given that I was out of town from Friday to Monday night, I only got to searching for files a few days ago so most have not yet finished downloading. They're on their way, everyone!! Please, please check back at a later date, especially when the under construction tag is out of the way. I apologize for the delay. :(

Also, a huge, huge THANK YOU to everyone who sent me their wishes and unnecessary gifts on my site's anniversary. I greatly appreciated it, especially when it's you guys that deserve a round of applause for continuing to support me through your comments and requests. *huggles for everyone* Thanks!

A few rules:
1) Please, please don't go crazy when requesting stuff! Under 10 albums/videos at once sounds quite reasonable to me, excluding discographies, which are allowed. But do let others have a chance as well: there's always next week. ^____^

2) If you do not have a lj-account: the comment is listed as anonymous, so feel free to leave an email address or name if you want your stuff to be grouped together or you want to be notified. Completely optional, of course. Also, please do note that wait times may vary depending on my list of requests and if I have to locate something. He he I'm not ignoring your requests, just keep checking back. It won't be more than 1-2 weeks.

3) Here are my playlists, but feel free to request anything in absolutely any musical genre; however, please, PLEASE refrain from requesting mainstream music as it's very easily accessible elsewhere and the goal of my site is to introduce obscure-ish, international, and highly underappreciated, artists... please let me do so, but again feel free to request anything that's not here and I will try tirelessly to locate it for you. Do understand that I can't guarantee anything that isn't on these lists. I have been *grins proudly* quite good at finding stuff in the past....

It was the first I heard from either band and fell in love with both of them! XD I especially love the chorus to this... oh! very lovely! [German; Pop] This is a single, as I learned, is from the boy band formed from the show Popstars: Das Duell. They apparently sound similiar to: 30 Seconds to Mars, Panic! at the Disco, and the Aacdemy Is... Slowish, gorgeous stuff similiar to Saturnus and November's Doom, just not as doomish, I think. XD [English (Finland); Melodic Death] I had this album up before in my personal collection, but got rid of it some time back because it was too screamish for me. Or at least I think so. Comment: [English (German); Folk Rock/Celtic] Some more Fiddler's Green from last week. If anyone missed it, this is a German band that plays Celtic and Irish Folk music. Heavily relying in traditional instruments. [German; Neo-Medieval] The same can be said of the latter band, which was likewise up last week, except their more classical/medieval. MM is apparently a rare album, or so the zip name claimed. XD Tumulus, who plays on the third album is a folk metal band similiar to In Extremo and Schandmaul. *nods*

Comment: [Japanese; Rock] This was listed as the Billy discography, so I was hugely annoyed when I found that this discography didn't have the right single. :( Anyways, Billy, being unknown to me, reminds of the heavier, louder bands in Jrockdom. And I must agree, harder, heavier rock, but very lovely. I was impressed.

Still, more stuffs. [Japanese; Rock] This was requests months ago, I'm sure of it, to someone. -___-;; It finally finished and unfrotunately, it's just a whole bunch of songs, even though there might be some mismatched singles in there as well. Comment: [Japanese; Rock] As promised, here's the video to the single, and fortunately, the video doesn't seem to have the massive subtitle tacked onto it. Or maybe so and no one bothered putting it in. XD I actually don't like this video and the song for that matter. Miyavi's rendition of the word Freedom (which he repeats more than anything else) is so whiny and annoying. Expectantly, at least for me, the video features mock protestors and Miyavi standing with nothing but an American flag wrapped around him. -____-; Yeah, didn't like it.... but I won't get into it.

XD This features a step by step video so that you too can dance along to your favorite PlC songs. I watched through one, and man! this is so stupid it's somewhat funny. Yura-sama acting so serious through the whole thing and Aya having to dance, and not looking too thrilled about it. ^____^;; (btw, I hope I got the names right, I don't like PlC, for obvious reasons given my anti-boucy nature)

Comment: [Japanese; Rock] A whole bunch of videos here, so I won't go through everything individually, but yeah, Gazette videos. I'm not that much of a fan of their music and videos, but they're pretty impressive, visually, so little complaining there, I suppose. Ruder, btw, comes with the making of tacked on at the end, whether you want it there or not. XDD Next, Rentrer en Soi videos are always lovely because I like their music, although the earlier sutff, like Bunretsu, has that... indies feel to it (think low budget ^^) I somehow misplaced Protoplasm, but it should be coming. Lastly, my personal fave, some gorgeous stuff from DR. ^___^ Mmmm.... both are gorgeous. Reddish is their first video, Squall is much newer.
